Welcome to Dubyspaces ("App"). Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information in compliance with GDPR and Apple App Store guidelines.

2. Data We Collect and Why

We only collect data necessary to provide the App's functionality and improve your experience. We do not sell your personal data.

A. Why an Account is Required

DubySpace is a personalized platform. To ensure content relevance and security, you must register an account to access the App. An account allows us to:

Personalize Your Feed: Show you businesses and offers relevant to your interests and location.
Manage Your Digital Assets: Securely store your claimed "Duby Passes" (discount QR codes) and mission progress.
Verify Interactions: Ensure that reviews and content uploads come from verified real users, maintaining the integrity of the platform.

B. Necessary for Service (Contractual)

Account Information: Name, Email, Password (encrypted). Required to create your unique profile, manage logins, and secure your account.
Location Data: We collect your precise location only while you are using the App.
- Purpose: To display nearby businesses and verify your physical presence ("Geofencing") for validating Missions and check-ins.
- Note: We do not track your location in the background when the App is closed.
User Generated Content (UGC): Photos, Videos, and Audio you upload to promote businesses.

B. Technical and Usage Data (Legitimate Interest)

Device Identifiers: Device model, OS version, IP address. Used for debugging, security, and push notifications.

C. Advertising Data & Tracking (Explicit Consent Only)

IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers): We respect your privacy choice. Only if you explicitly grant permission via the Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we collect your IDFA.
- Purpose: To show you personalized advertisements that are more likely to be interesting to you, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
- Control: You can allow or deny this tracking at any time in your iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

3. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

We do not sell your personally identifiable information. We share data only with essential service providers:

Supabase: Secure database hosting and user authentication.
RevenueCat: Management of in-app subscriptions and payments.
Advertising Partners (Consent only): If you opt-in to tracking, we may share your IDFA with third-party ad networks for targeted advertising.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to legal obligations.

5. Your Rights and Control

Right to Erasure ("Delete Account")

You can instantly delete your account and all associated data (including videos and missions) directly from the App:

Go to Profile.
Tap the Settings icon.
Select Delete Account and confirm.

You also have the right to:

Request a copy of your data.
Withdraw consent for tracking at any time via your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking).

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
